CJ Slayer, winner of Your Shot 2022, is a Melbourne techno DJ making waves. she's long been in the electronic dance music scene, raving her way to solid musical education.

Her sets are driving with a combination of electro, breaks and a diverse range of techno. She dubs her style as ‘janky energy’ mixing with creative layers, drops and chops similar to her ‘all sorts’ personality in an attempt to bring her audience on a journey to the unknown. 

In a short time CJ has made an impact in the techno scene supporting international artists such as Rebekah, Nico Moreno, Teenage Mutants and Stranger at events with WARG, Melbourne Techno Collective, Astra, Beaufort Beats and Ego Dystonic to name a few. 

CJ has been international playing at Terminal V festival in Croatia in 2025 and Chasing Summer festival in 2023 Canada.

She’s also a host at DJ Social Club, a community for music lovers to connect and share music at fortnightly open decks. She’s passionate about social connection and creating positive vibes within the Naarm community.
